English Setter-Labloodhound Mix Dog for Adoption in LISLE, New York, 13797 USNickname: Brinley We want this sweet and playful girl to go to a loving home! Brinley is an extremely affectionate puppy who loves to cuddle and have her belly rubbed. She's the last of her litter mates to find a home, which surprised us all because of her beautiful markings and sweet temperament. She was born on 1/23/24 and has chocolate Labrador Retriever, coonhound, and English setter blood (but puppyfinder category option did not include Labrador/coonhound mixes). She is fully acclimated to human interaction, having been regularly played with since birth by children of all ages. She lives at our rural, country home with her dam and grand-dam, and received the recommended time of socialization and learning with and from her litter mates and mama. Her dam is a sweet, loyal Chocolate lab/coonhound mix with some Border Collie from her mother. She has mothered them well, and their sire lives down the road at our neighbor's house. Their sire is an English setter, with the standard appearance and temperament of setters. He is a very friendly, social, active dog. Brinley is a large-breed pup, on the smaller side of large breed, and due to size and breed, is not a good fit for small apartment living. She'll need a fairly active lifestyle and loving attention, as she is friendly and used to companionship. Because she's a cold-weather breed, and because she currently spends most of her time outdoors, she would make an ideal farm dog or indoor/outdoor dog, and she will benefit from outdoor exercise in all seasons. *Important notes: *We are not breeders but have raised her and her litter mates from birth with love and attention.**Because she is a mixed breed, she is not at risk for the genetic weaknesses to which many purebred breeds are susceptible.*** She is up-to-date on her deworrming schedule and on DHPP vaccinations.
