Golden Retriever Dog for Adoption in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, 55429 USNickname: Sunshine Posted Breed: Golden Retriever (medium coat). Sunshine is a beautiful and friendly 3 year old Golden Retriever. Initially when she came into rescue, she was very timid and shy. Now her favorite thing is cuddling up with her human on the couch. She also really enjoys stuffed toys and will usually have one (or several) wherever she goes. Sunshine gets along well with both of the resident dogs and the resident cat. She has been friendly to everyone she has met and loves attention! One fear she is still working on conquering is going outside. When Sunshine goes outside, her teeth will chatter, she will drool and pull to try to go back inside especially if there are any loud noises. Because of this, she hasn’t quite conquered potty training yet. She is 100% trained on potty pads when she is indoors and will go potty outside when she goes out. When she has to go, she has a tendency to try and go to her potty pad first. I think a fenced in yard where she could freely explore would be ideal. Sunshine had a hard start to her life but has come so far already in such a short amount of time. With a loving and patient family to continue her progress, she will be an excellent addition to any home! Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $450.00
