She also happens to be a big cuddle bug who thrives on attention and affection from her people. With a wagging tail (watch out happy tail!), classic Dane lean and love for giving kisses, she is a sweet girl who loves everyone she meets. Masie is submissive and not quite sure how to be a dog yet, but she has an easy going personality and with some encouragement she warms up to foster dogs of all ages (although she does better with a lower-energy playmate that can respect her space). Masie even enjoys the company of dog-savvy feline friends in the home! Her ideal home would be with older kids who can understand that she can be fearful or easily startled with unexpected movements, raised voices, or loud noises. While she doesn't mind the company of canine siblings, Masie would also do just fine as the solo star of the show - this beauty would love nothing more than to soak up all the love and nestle in next to you on the couch for movie night!Masie can't be left unattended during the day, as she has a mischievous streak that leads to destructive behaviors, counter surfing, and trash diving antics. After all she's been through, being without her people makes Maisie anxious, and settling down on her own can be challenging. Thankfully, she's kennel trained and potty trained, making her no problem to manage in a crate when her humans are away.When it comes to energy levels, she is a delightful mix of mellow couch potato and playful pup.
