Hedy is a 40 pound retriever chow mix who loves dogs and people. She is Hayden's sister and they are two peas in a pod. She is very bright, learns quickly, loves to run around and play in the yard with her foster sibling, and end the day by snuggling up with her foster parents. She is a compact size, easy to walk, and ready to become your companion. Hedy is brand new to PAW and we will update as we get to know more about her.##2072948##Adoption process1. Interested adopters first fill out an adoption application.2. Adoption applications are reviewed by an Adoption Review Committee within a couple of days.3. A vet check is performed on all adoption applicants for current and past pets.4. A home visit is conducted.5. If the adoption is approved, a contract is signed, a donation made, and the pet goes home with the adopter.Shelter locationSeveral adoption shows are held every weekend in the suburban Maryland area to allow prospective owners to meet with the animals and with volunteers.
