Iggy The Fetch Girl, Labrador Retriever For Adoption In Provo, Utah

Price:
$825
Location:
Provo, UT
Description:

Each dog you meet has its own unique personality, yes, but do some breeds come with a preset number of qualities- YES! Labs for example, we all think of similar things when we think of a lab- happy, fetching,, affectionate, easy-going, smart and all around good dogs that are smart and highly trainable! Of course in rescue we cannot know a dogs breed with a 100% confidence but look at Iggy here and tell me she isn’t a lab! Watch her play a game of fetch and you will agree- that girl has to be some kind of lab and just in case there is a doubt, we will call her a lab-mix. Admire her cuteness and appreciate the fetching then come back to read more! Iggy is estimated to be 7 years old and she weighs 59 lbs and is fully grown. She has all the basics mastered, sit, gentle release, patience while playing fetch, great leash manners, and is both house and crate trained! That is the stuff dreams are made of! All the joy of a dog without the puppy years! The starter pack- no additional cost. Of course we have no way of knowing but Iggy sure seems to know her way around a house and people and we suspect she has likely lived in a family home before being a “rescue.” Iggy’s love of fetch alone means we would recommend a house with a yard. Apartment living with access to open space is also a possibility. Thanks to her age she doesn’t need much, a good game of fetch and a stroll around the block is the perfect amount of exercise. Expect to find her in a prime napping location after that. In addition to being friendly, smart, and good-company, she is also great with other dogs and was a perfect lady with our house cat! We introduced Iggy to a handful of dogs, different energy levels and sizes, she was perfectly friendly and unbotheredby the occasions of rowdy play. She didn’t show us a dog-to-dog playfulness but that could easily change once she is settled in at home. If you are looking for a canine companion for your current pet, Iggy is up for the role! If you are more the one-cat-one-dog kind of person, Iggy has that too! She was a perfect lady when she met our house cat Tom, giving him respectable distance and not pulling to chase. She is cat tolerant and we believe with proper introductions, Iggy could happily co-exist with a feline friend. A classic, good-girl bringing playfulness and companionship- available for adoption! Lucky you! If you have any questions about Iggy or would like us to test her for a specific setting or detail, please be in touch! We can make most anything happen to ensure he is the correct fit for you and your life! Please email XXXX@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions.
