NAME: Leopold BREED: Chihuahua blend AGE: 9 weeks WEIGHT: 4 pounds LIKES: Leopold loves people and toys. He gets along well with dogs, cats, and small children. DISLIKES: None to date PERSONALITY TRAITS: Leopold is friendly, and very outgoing, often taking a minute to warm up to people. He loves playing with his siblings, too. POTTY TRAINING STATUS: A work in progress. CRATE TRAINING STATUS: Leopold sleeps in an x-pen, and does very well. He will let you know when he’s ready to get out. Leopold is such a sweet, fun, little guy. He will be a great fit in a family with older children or traveling with single or retired folks. Distemper/Parvo boosters, and rabies shot, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery are included with the adoption fee. You will also receive a PetSmart puppy packet with hundreds of dollars of savings, a FREE bag of food, 30 minute private training session with a certified dog trainer, and a free checkup at Banfield. Potential adopters must live within 30 miles of Eugene, Oregon. If you live outside the 30 mile radius, still send us an email, as we will can make exceptions if the circumstances are optimal for the dog or puppy.##2088487##Adoption processThe process for adoption through our rescue begins with the adoption application. Once accepted, a meet and greet with the dogs is arranged and includes everyone in the family including other pets. If the dog seems like a good fit, he/she is brought to the home where the dog will be living to make sure it is an appropriate home....ie. dog friendly, fenced yard, etc. Finally, an adoption agreement is signed to insure that the adopter understands what is expected of them.Shelter locationAll our dogs are in foster homes prior to finding their forever homes.
