SOCKS Foster Lilah is a 10 week old 4.2 lb Chihuahua mix. We have done DNA testing and she is 50% Chi along with primarily other small breeds. She is sweet and spunky and full of energy. Lilah is being fostered with her brother and other dogs in Lake City Fl. She came to SOCKS after being surrendered by her owner. She was living under a person’s home and her mom is feral. We will do a foster to adopt for Lilah until she is spayed and receives her rabies vaccination. SOCKS will pay the cost of both. If you are out of the state of Florida, you would need to travel to Florida to complete your adoption. Please note that we do check vet references and your current pets must be up to date on vaccinations and heartworm testing. Please be able to provide proof of purchase of heartworm prevention. All dogs and cats in your home must be spayed or neutered. We will not set up a meet and greet until your application has been received, reviewed, and approved. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first served basis. We will accept applications and then screen all and choose the best match.
