Animal Profile: Louie is an estimated 3.5-month-old male Terrier mixed breed who we believe will be Small/medium sized when full grown. He was surrendered to the Caddo Parish shelter along with his sibling, and they were assessed to be social and friendly with people and dogs. We will share more about them as we get to know them in foster care. Foster Update: Louie has a wonderful, happy disposition. He likes to chew on toys, play tug-of-war, and run around in the yard. He’s a big cuddler and loves to curl up with us on the couch. He’s been very respectful of our resident dogs - he wants to say hi and will happily lay down next to them but he hasn’t been pushy at all. Potty training, crate training and leash training is going well. We’re currently working on name recognition and a few basic commands. Overall, Louie is a wonderful little puppy with a great temperament! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.
