Mylo is a handsome boy looking for a forever home. He was an owner surrender to an overcrowded shelter and since he had no hold time was immediately placed on "the list". Fortunately, he was brought to BCAA's attention to see if we could help him... how could we say no to those eyes?! Mylo is a black lab mix who is just under 4mos of age and currently weighs 22lbs; based on his guesstimated age, we expect him to be around 50-60lbs when full grown. He is a happy boy who is doing great in his foster home with both housebreaking and leash walking, but as still a puppy will need continued training as well as socialization to become the great adult dog he is on his way to becoming. Mylo has gotten along with all of the other dogs he has met and like a typical lab, loves people and wants to please. PLEASE NOTE: Our adoption fee helps to cover our expenses and includes all shots, *age appropriate*, distemper and rabies, fecal check, spay/neuter, heartworm test, grooming, and in many cases dental and also the fee we pay when we rescue from a shelter. June 7, 2024, 1:58 amAdoption processOur adoption process starts with the applicant filling out an adoption application for the pet they are interested in. When they have completed and submitted the application, the screening process is started, which consists of a vet check, phone interview and home visit. Once all the steps are completed, we determine, by our findings, if they are approved, and if so, then they are allowed to adopt from our organization. The final step is they must complete the adoption contract, along with the donation for the animal, which goes into our medical fund to defray their medical costs. All of our animals are spayed and neutered, up to date on all their shots, including rabies, they are parasite free and on heartworm preventative.Shelter locationWe have weekly adoption events at PetsMart every Saturday from 11:00 am till 2:00 pm at the Eastgate Square Shopping Center, Rt. 38, Moorestown, NJ and PetsMart, 62 Centerton Rd, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054.
