Meet Olive, our loving 6-year-old Dachshund mix with soulful brown eyes and a heart full of love. Olive is ready to find a new forever home after her previous owners sadly passed away. Weighing 49 pounds, Olive could benefit from a healthy diet to help her reach her ideal weight. Olive has a few fatty buildups on her back leg and neck area, but they do not cause her any mobility issues. These can be surgically removed if desired. Despite these minor health considerations, Olive's loving personality shines through in everything she does. Likely potty trained, Olive is a very sweet and affectionate dog who enjoys being close to her humans. Apply to adopt Olive for your next loyal and caring friend at HeberSpringsHumaneSociety.com Olive’s adoption fee is $100.00 and includes first shots, worming, and sterilization. Optional microchipping and registration is available for an additional $20.00. Please fill out an adoption application at heberspringshumanesociety.com and a volunteer will contact you. The adoption application is NOT on Adopt a Pet. You must apply on our Heber Springs Humane Society website.Adoption processWe have an adoption contract and adoption fees. The fee for a dog is $100.00 and a cat is $60.00. The fee includes mandatory spay or neuter and vaccinations. If calling about an animal you may have to leave a message. Your call will be answered as soon as possible.Shelter locationOur shelter is located at 49 Shelter Lane in Heber Springs, Arkansas. We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 12:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
