Princess-Lab/Terrier mix male puppy. ~ 3 mo. (Aug. 2024)Contact XXXX@hotmail.com for an application. Princess came to Rescue from a high kill big city shelter, as a little puppy, with her momma and siblings. Momma and the babies, only 5 wk. old were on the list to lose their life to euthanasia the next day. This was happening only because the shelter is way overwhelmed with dogs needing homes. The little family went into a rescue foster home and has proved to be such sweet puppies. Now weaned and ready for her new home. Princess will enjoy an active lifestyle, being an excellent hiking or walking partner. She will mature about 40#, we estimate. She plays well with her siblings and the other foster dogs, running and playing take up most of his day. Best of all, she loves people and wants to interact with her humans. Princess's adoption fee is $350 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. For our application, please email XXXX@hotmail.com Include your location and a phone number for future communication.Adoption processThe first step in the adoption process is to request an application from XXXX@hotmail.com. Please allow 1-2 days to receive the application. Please be patient as we are 100% volunteer supported. We will need several days to make the calls on your application. The current pets in the home must be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines and annual exams, and currently on heartworm preventative for dogs. You must be 21 years of age and gainfully employed.Once you are approved, a volunteer will contact you and invite you to a Meet and Greet to visit with a pet. All our pets are fostered in private homes and only come to the event when they have a potential adopter. Plan to spend 1-2 hours at the Meet and Greet. It takes time to unload our pets and give them an opportunity to relieve themselves. You will have time to visit with a pet to decide if this is the right pet for your family. You will be required to sign a legal contract and we will go over the medical records with you. You will be required to take your new pet to the vet within 7 days of adopting. We charge an adoption fee for all of our animals. This fee varies depending on the vetting requirements of that particular animal. The adoption fee is cash only. Our events are held from 4-7PM on a given Saturday. Approved adopters will be reserved time to meet with a pet. We will review the medical records and contract at the time of adoption. If you do not have an approved application, visiting hours are after 6:30 PM.
