Sheprador Dog for Adoption in Omaha, Nebraska, 68164 USNickname: Orla Posted Breed: Australian Shepherd / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Meet Orla! She’s a curious, 10 week old (DOB 4/2/24), 8-10 lb beauty. She is learning manners and how to be a dog. She is great at crate training and sometimes hangs out in there just to relax. She is working hard at potty training. She hasn't figured out stairs just yet, but she is brave and curious so it's only a matter of time. She loves playing with her furry foster siblings and ignores the cat in the house. She loves snuggling and will take every opportunity to do so. Orla was born in rural Oklahoma. A local’s dog “accidentally” had puppies so Orla and her 7 littermates traveled up here to safety in Omaha. They needed to avoid going to the scary, overcrowded shelter there. Mom was a Black Labrador Retriever and Dad was an Australian Shepherd (both are getting fixed now- don’t worry)! Orla will be spayed by our vets when age appropriate, is vaccinated up to date, microchipped, dewormed and ready to meet her forever family! Her adoption donation fee is $415. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals.
