Shiba Inu Mix Dog for Adoption in Santa Cruz, California, 95062 USNickname: HONEY Posted Breed: Shiba Inu / Mixed (medium coat). Meet Honey! Honey is a medium sized mixed breed who came to the Shelter after her guardians were unable to continue caring for her. She previously lived with another dog and did well. She was described as a bit shy with new people in her previous home. We have her in a foster home to have in a stress-free environment while awaiting her adoptive home. Her foster reports: `Honey is very very sweet. She warmed up to us right away and loves being pet and follows us around the house. She was a bit nervous about being in the car. She is food motivated and very excited about treats. She slept in the create for the whole night without a single whine and seems comfortable in there. She seems potty trained so far. We are working on leash walking as she pulls and zig zags on leash. Adopers will defeintely need to spend sme time training her (but it's great that she's food motivated).
