Sweet Wonton needs a special forever home. She is the product of a backyard breeder and is very shy and insecure. She does like to be around other dogs. We think she would blossom in an adult only home with another dog to show her the way. She is estimated to be a 1 year old Chinese Shar-Pei/Poodle mix. Once she begins to love and trust you, she will love and trust you forever but she does need work building her confidence and learning to trust. She will take time to transition into a home so we are looking for just the right family. She does not like to be picked up so we are looking for an adult only home. We are afraid a child will not understand her body language and cues. Wonton is a perfect example of what you support when you purchase a dog from a backyard breeder/puppy mill. Of course, when their experiment didn't work out, she was dumped at an animal control facility. Please give her a chance.
