This adorable little girl is Paulie! ?? Paulie was found dodging traffic and in very poor condition. Her fur was completely matted and she was very scared. Paulie seemed to not be used to human touch, and we can only imagine the loneliness she had previously experienced. Unable to bear the thought of Paulie being in the shelter setting after a life like that, one of our volunteer families took her in and have been fostering her for 4 months. She is now ready to find a patient and loving family to adopt her. Paulie will need a quiet family who will take their time with her and provide her with the support needed to get used to a new life. She is more comfortable around women and is still scared around the men in the foster home, even after 4 months. Paulie gets along well with their three small dogs and likes their rabbit and guinea pigs. She is house broken. With time, she has opened up a lot since first arriving with her foster family. Paulie loves to give kisses and gets excited when they come home. She's even gotten some happy zoomies a few times. While her fun personality has started to shine, she still gets nervous often and is ready for the perfect family who is understanding of her needs ??Paulie is a Miniature Poodle, weighs 8 pounds, and was born on 1/3/2014. She is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and flea/tick/heartworm preventative. Paulie must be an indoor dog, meaning she sleeps in the home setting and does not live outside.
