Izzy is a beloved 3-year-old toy poodle who has been part of our family since she was a puppy. She is a very smart dog who loves affection and has mastered all the basic commands. Unfortunately, Izzy has struggled with resource guarding, especially when it comes to the people she cares about. After much consideration, we've concluded that Izzy would thrive best in a home with just one or two adults, without young children. While she is a sweet and well-behaved companion in a one-on-one setting, her resource guarding tendencies make her a less ideal fit for a household with kids. We would love to find Izzy a new forever home where she can be the center of attention! We are specifically hoping to stay involved in Izzy's life, as we are all very attached to her and would be willing to watch her free of charge when you go on vacation, etc. Izzy is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and does not require extensive exercise.
