Tyra is a three-year-old, 55-pound lab mix from a town in TN that doesn’t have a shelter, so a citizen built one, funds it on her own, and has sent thousands of dogs to rescue for adoption. There is not a lot of opportunity for adoption where they are located, so several dogs have been there for a while, which we said we would help with. Tyra had been there for seven months and needed a break. Recently, she lucked out with a foster home and is doing well. She is housetrained and good in the house. She will stay in a crate but doesn’t love it. She is good with the foster’s dogs but prefers to avoid hyper and in-your-face dogs. She is very sweet and loving but lacks confidence. Slow and easy is the way for Tyra.##2038709##
