Affectionate, Playful, Smart, Funny, Athletic, Loves Kisses Kiano is a high energy adolescent pup who was found in an emaciated state with a broken tail tied to a park bench in South Philly in March 2023. After an intense re-feeding program and a tail amputation as well as all of his other medical care, Kiano began to shine! He has mastered “potty bells” and knows to ring them to let his humans know he needs to go out. He has learned basic commands and how to socialize with other dogs and a cat. He is still working on leash manners but is making strides. He still has some puppy dog mouthy behaviors to work on but is an eager student. Like most young dogs, he is high energy and up for all kinds of fun! He is looking for a home where he can continue to grow and master behaviors to be his best well mannered self! He loves balls, sprinklers and playing with other dogs! Please fill out our Adoption Application. Once you are approved to adopt, a time to meet Kiano can be arranged with his foster!
