Kelly was injured and in so much pain when we rescued her from abandonment (https://fb.watch/noUEk_H5kN/). Sadly, her shattered leg couldn't be saved and was amputated, but she came through it very well and adjusted quickly to life as a tripod. We saw this sweet old girl settle once she realized her days of surviving on the streets were behind her and that every day there would be a comfy dry bed, food and water readily available -- she didn't have to dodge traffic to get to it, and that people were there to care for and remind her what a good girl she is. While she can still be skittish of new people, which is understandable considering everything she has been through, everyday, Kelly shows us more of her incredible personality. She is happy, spunky and loves attention. Kelly is ready for a home, where she can live out her days knowing she is safe and loved.
