CUPCAKEGood w/dogsNeeds another dogGood w/catsHousetrainedPotties on leashNeeds a fence Meet Cupcake—a beagle girl who’s as sweet as can be!Due to a change in family circumstances, her owners could no longer take care of her and chose Midwest BREW to find her a new home. She was a much-loved family dog. She is independent, curious, and well-socialized. A first-rate cuddler whose favorite spot is next to you. Thunder and hard rain frighten her and she needs to be held. She’s not crate-trained, but she can be left in the house for a while (no longer than 5 hours) with no problem—she just finds a good spot and takes (another) nap! She sleeps on the big bed—sometimes under the covers. A fenced yard for her is a must—no tie-outs! Car rides aren’t her favorite activity; she is anxious and occasionally whines. We tether her and use lots of blankets. She goes to sleep if the drive is longer than 30-40 minutes.Cupcake is happy to meet new people (big and little) and dogs whether at our house, on a walk, or evenat the vet! She used to nap with a cat in her former home. She is housetrained and knows “sit” and“out”—she’ll pace between us and the door if we’re slow to notice! She and our family beagle Zuzu likewrestling and doing zoomies together. This beagle girl needs another dog in the family. And pillows—lots of couch or bed pillows for perching and sleeping! We hear that wonderful beagle bark when someone rings the doorbell, when she sees squirrels, and when we’re not getting her food into her bowl fast enough for her!In short, Cupcake is a wonderful, sweet beagle girl who is looking for someone to love her as much as she’ll love you!NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).If you have any questions or would like to adopt CUPCAKE, please reach out to the adoption group directly.
