Border Collie Dog for Adoption in Ogden, Utah, 84404 USNickname: ORVEN Posted Breed: Border Collie (medium coat). REPORTED BY FORMER OWNER:Orvin is crate trained and house trained. He spent most of his time outside. He walks pretty well on the leash and knows the sit and down commands and is working on learning the come and stay commands. Heâs friendly toward visitors in the home and previously lived with respectful children and could do so again. He has a medium-to-high energy level and enjoys playing fetch. He previously lived with other dogs and got along well with them. He is not a fan of livestock and will chase a cat unless trained not to. OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF: Orvin would do best in a very active home where he has something to do. He is eager to please people and would most likely excel at agility. When in playgroups, he does tend to âherdâ the other dogs. He would love to be engaged in activities to keep him smart brain stimulated. If Orvin has a good leader, good direction, and a mission, he will NEVER fail you! Orven is driven to give his very best at whatever he does, so proper guidance and follow through are going to be crucial for his new family. He loves to play fetch and will bring the toy right back to you so you can throw it again! Weighs 50 pounds; $25 to adopt.
