T Rex is NOTHING like the dinosaur that terrorized the prehistoric era. In fact, he's more like a teddy bear: snuggly, soft, and squeezable! Poor T Rex was sadly surrendered by a relative of his owner after he became incarcerated. Don't hesitate to come meet this sweet sweet boy. He's very eager to show you his tender demeanor and to prove that he's nowhere near his dinosaur era! T Rex is eligible for rescue, foster, and adoption. He was very nervous in his kennel and was crying when I walked by. He ended up being fantastic on the leash and we went for a long walk in the cemetery. He knows sit and hardly pulls on the leash. Once he opened up, he was so goofy and started rolling around on the grass. He laid down on the grass with me and loved having his belly rubbed. Per volunteer on 5/19: T Rex is such a sweet and gentle guy. He was initially a bit shy with me but warmed up very quickly. I tried to get him to chase me and play with toys in the run but he just wanted to stay by my side, hang, and get treats and pets. He's very gentle and has soulful eyes. He showed me that he knows sit and displayed some playful interest in other dogs talking by the run. He was an angel at the photoshoot. I just loved taking him out today! Per staff on 5/19: Eval 5/19: Sweet, shy at first but warms up quickly. Likes treats and takes them gently.
