Ollie is a highly affectionate, purebred long haired mini dachshund born in Oakland, CA. He was adopted at 8 weeks old and has been with his current owner since. He turned 12 years old in April 2024, and is in need of a new loving home. Ollie loves to snuggle, sun-bathe, play hide and seek with his toys and/or people, and will do anything for treats/food. Despite his age, he is still very playful and active. He is also just a really chill dog and doesn’t require a whole lot of work. Short walks and time to sit together has been his daily routine for the past several years. He had a back injury when he was 7 years old, but has fully recovered from it, and just needs his weight monitored. Making sure he does not over-eat to prevent weight gain is crucial to Ollie’s well being.
