Can I have a PIZZA your heart? Skittles isn't trick or treating for candy this year, but for her FOREVER home! This 2 year old Shepherd mix is a sweetheart! Skittles came in as a stray who had been living off the kindness of strangers for many weeks. At first, she was very scared of new people but the staff at HES worked with her and got her into a foster home. She's been in foster for about two months, where she's been flourishing! Skittles gets along amazingly with most dogs (and would do best in a home with a dog of medium energy level, like her) and she also does well with cats that are used to dogs. Skittles has had a very bumpy past so she needs someone who will be slow with her and respect her boundaries until she's comfortable and would do best in a home with no young children (+16 age restriction). She is still working on meeting new people with confidence, but once she warms up to you, she'll be the best friend you've ever had! ??
