Sable and I could use a little help from our friends. Can you please share with your friends? Ten month old Sable spent her entire life living in a small pen until she came to us. Every sound is new and anything from a sneeze to the refrigerator kicking on makes her drop to the ground. But she’s slowly learning what it’s like to be a dog and the comforts of a home and freedom are very interesting to her. She likes people but she needs time to warm up. Her little tail will wag slightly letting you know she’s wanting to have her head scratched. Once she warms up she will flop down for a belly rub and wants all the lovins. She’s shy but quirky. She is more confident if she has an emotional support stuffy to carry around. She keeps her crate clean and knows to potty outside where she has claimed a designated spot every time. She loves to howl along to the fire whistle and stays right in tune. Sable is looking for a quiet home where she can be the center of someone’s world. She’s good with dogs and cats. She’s a Beagle mix who we believe will stay a medium sized dog.
