Meet Abel, he came to the shelter due to no fault of his own. He arrived with his best friend Cain and they must be adopted together. Both are shy boys, but Abel is a bit more outgoing than Cain. Abel knows sit and does well on the leash. His former owner says that he can be timid, but once he trusts you he will be a lapdog and appreciates attention. He has been around children aged newborn to 10 years old and has done well. He is housebroken, he can be crated, and he knows some commands.Come down to BARCS and meet Abel and Cain! They are residing in the back hallway (not in one of the main kennel rooms), so please ask to meet them - it's lonely back there!
