Anya is a 5y old high energy, extremely intelligent, silly, full bred Pudlepointer. She is liver colored with a wire coat. She doesn't really shed and does not need regular grooming. She really needs an active person in her life to take her hiking or running on a near daily basis. She is a smart dog and will test boundaries, but is eager to please and desires your loving attention. Our family adopted Anya about one year old. I suspect she was not socialized much in her first year of life and is wary of strangers at first. She has not ever bitten anyone, but she will bark loudly at strangers who approach. She knows many commands including sit, down, stay, kennel, speak, spin, play dead, go to your bed, find a toy/person(she has learned names of toys, people, and other pets). She is house trained, kennel trained, and muzzle trained(we put her in a muzzle when taking her to the vet) She is great with our daughter and other dog. She needs a loving experienced caretaker.
