Meet Athena! Like Greek mythology suggests, this beautiful gal is a goddess! Athena is a super sweet and affectionate 3 year old German Shepherd, who adores human companionship, and would do best in a home where someone is around more often than not. She weighs 65 pounds, (a bit on the thin side) and would benefit from some extra treats! She is good with other dogs, loves all people big and small, young and old, but needs to be in a house with no cats or small animals. Athena is always up for anything, whether it be a nice walk (she pulls some at first with all the new smells, but does calm down), a car ride (her favorite), or even a snuggle on the couch. She is super smart and knows commands such as sit, leave it, and catch. She is fully house-trained, spayed, and up to date on all vaccinations.While she does have separation anxiety in a crate, with the right support and training, Athena can learn to feel more secure and comfortable when left alone, and would need a heavy durable crate.
