Female - 2 years - 67 lbs - Microchipped - Spayed - PAHi there! My name is Hera and I am a 2-year-old, 67 lb spayed female. I am already housetrained and crate-trained. I do not seem to need to be crated as I have been left uncrated on the main floor at my foster home without issue.I am a friendly girl who has done well with men, women, and children. I love affection and my foster family tells me I’m made of liquid because of how I will melt to the floor for belly rubs if I am being pet! I will gently place my paw in your lap if I want more pets—I will walk away if you tell me no though! While I am welcoming to visitors to our home with proper introduction, a lot of visitors can overstimulate me and I may go lay in my crate to reset.I have done well with a variety of other dogs as long as I have a slow, proper introduction. My preference definitely leans towards large, male dogs—I have two large, male dogs in my foster home that I adore and love to play and snuggle with. I follow the lead of my German Shepherd brother well and think I’d like to keep having a big brother to look up to. I don’t particularly care for small or female dogs and can get crabby if they don’t accept my cues that I don’t want to play with them. I am not super interested in toys, but I love to collect soft things in my crate like a dragon. I have done well with the cats in my foster home. I HAVE MEDICAL NEEDS: I have inflammatory bowel disease and require a prescription food to maintain a healthy GI system. My food costs about $140 every 5 weeks and I love it!I have learned how to jump into the car and ride well! I have also learned how to walk on a loose leash, sit, down, place, and come. I love taking trips to fields or hiking trails and have come to love training once I trust my handler. I would love to find a family willing to continue my training to help us bond.
