Animal Profile: Waffles is an estimated 1-2 year old 10 lb spayed female poodle terrier mixed breed who was at risk in the Carson city shelter in Los Angeles due to space. She was assessed to be friendly with people and dogs. We will share more about her as we get to know her in foster care. Foster Update: Waffles is doing great! Her legs give her the illusion of height, but she's really quite small with a petite frame. Waffles is potty trained and most of the time she is content in the crate. She likes to have her people nearby though, and she sometimes barks when left alone. I think once she gets more secure and into a routine she'll be better about being alone. She is definitely interested in being a lap dog. Waffles is a bit jumpy and might not be good with young kids because of that. But otherwise she is extremely gentle and we haven't heard a single growl. She doesn't chew or nip and thus far has no interest in toys. She's good on a leash and has a bit of a spring to her step that makes it look like she's prancing. The prance is so cute it makes people smile. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.
