I am a handsome 6-year-old fawn boy that is a return due to my current owners unable to afford my care. I am said to be active, smart, protective, playful, affectionate, and nervous! I seem to have skin allergies but take Apoquel tablets daily along with Cytopoint injections for it. I can get very itchy and red on my coat so having me on allergy medication is needed. I am a well-behaved dog and listen well. It is said that I get along with other dogs and live with a 5-year-old kid so I am considered dog and kid friendly. In my first home I lived with an older cat that I left alone and a younger one that I liked to play chase with. When I have contact with new people or things in and outside of my home, I get nervous and do not like when people kneel and get in my face. I am house trained, crate trained, at night I sleep on a dog bed in the human’s bedroom. When I must be left alone, I am fine in my crate and prefer it so that I do not become mischievous or destructive. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. I’m fearful of loud or random unknown sounds, vacuums, brooms, and mops. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, any stuffed animal (specifically my pink cow), my rubber donut toy, going for walks, playing tug of war, fetch, affection and praise from the humans, peanut butter, my bed, and doggie ice cream. My current owner says I am a “wonderful boy, very happy and playful, and a protector”.
