These puppies come from generations of working lines to become where they are now! They are registered in the Colorado Mountain Dog registry as G3 puppies. Dad has worked with livestock his entire life and is accustomed to poultry/ calves/ cows and goats. Dad weighs approximately 160 lbs at minimum. Mom has worked closely with a large goat/sheep herd in their pastures as well as some free range chickens. Horses also live on the property. Mom weighs approximately 100 lbsColorado Mountain dogs are a breed in development to suit the needs of small homesteads. Our goal is for our puppies to bark less/ stay close to home by not wandering like a typical Pyrenees and be social with all people. These dogs are meant for guarding livestock. Not property from other people. However, they may protect properties from strangers by their size alone. Puppies are coming on 9 weeks old and have been exposed to livestock and love their jobs. These puppies will be great on farms or could be great companions with large yards and plenty of exercise. Puppies have their first 2 vaccines and have been dewormed appropriately.
